Casablanca, Morocco — Hussain Saeed Alnahdi, 24, died on Monday October 31st after being beaten to death outside a pizza shop by a 6ft tall white male. Al Nahdi was an international student studying business administration at the University of Wisconsin since 2015.According to NBC News, Alnahdi was attacked outside a restaurant called “Toppers Pizza” in Menomonie, Wisconsin at around 2 A.M. on Sunday. When the police arrived, they found Alnahdi bleeding from his mouth and nose, lying on the street. On Monday, Alnahdi died from the injuries he sustained during the attack. Witnesses told the police the attacker was a 6ft tall white male. No arrests have been made so far, but the Menomonie Police Department released a statement on Monday saying that the case was being treated as a homicide and that investigators are looking for possible suspects. According to the Daily Mail UK, Alnahdi’s friends believe the attack may have been racially motivated. One of Alnahdi’s best friends and roommate, Tommy Hutson, says, “Everyone has cried themselves out at this point and we are trying to remember the good times.”In a statement, Houston’s Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia said that they “are in the process of appointing an attorney to help locate the attacker and to request the maximum punishment.This 24 year-old, self-sponsored student had decided to attend University of Wisconsin-Stout because he believed Menomonie is a safe town to live in. He had dreams of earning a degree to secure his future and support and family. We trust the authorities will find the offender, and we trust the American courts will ensure a just punishment.” The consulate is also trying to arrange transportation of his body back to his family in Saudi Arabia.
